17-year-old youth campaign sensation, Greta Thunberg, has recently won a Portugese prize of €1million - and promptly pledged to distribute it between climate action working groups.

The gesture is the result of her winning the Gulbenkian Rights Award for humanitarian work, specifically mobilising youths to act for climate change and improvements to the planet’s ecosystems.  Some organisations to receive a figure include a campaign run by Fridays For Future Brazil, ‘SOS Amazonia’, which will help to combat the COVID19 in the Amazon, and the Stop Ecocide Foundation.
