Last Intact Canadian Ice Shelf Collapses

An ice shelf as big as Manhatten has collapsed into the sea in Canada.

The Milne was Canada’s last fully intact ice shelf, and reduced the overall size by 43% over the last two days in July, when the chunk broke away.

This news comes as the UK experienced it’s third hottest day on record, reaching 37.8°C.
