Greta to Release New Documentary

Teen activist Greta Thunberg became a sensation almost overnight with her powerful speeches, inspiring movements and humble disposition. Now, she is preparing for the release of her first major documentary, ‘I Am Greta.’

The film follows Greta, now 17, as she travels the world creating change and growing her international following along the way. Put together by Swedish director Nathan Grossman, the ‘behind-the-scenes’ footage follows Thunberg from her lonely beginnings as a single protestor striking outside her country’s Parliament buildings, to building her Fridays for Future campaign with fellow students across the globe, ending with her speaking at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York.

Greta has inspired many young activists across the planet to take action against climate change, and has been nominated for multiple awards including a Nobel Peace Prize.  In perhaps one of her most famous quotes, she states: “I don’t want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I feel every day. I want you to act. I want you to act like you would in a crisis.  I want you to act like your house is on fire, because it is.”

The film is due to be released on Hulu in November.
