We received hundreds of entries across the three categories of Art, Poetry and Photography, from students representing nearly 60 schools – including internationally!
Whilst each and every entry has been incredibly important in raising the alarm for the environment as we approach COP26, we sadly cannot include every one in the next phase of the process. We are currently creating our shortlist and all students will receive an email to confirm their submission status – if you are a student that has entered this competition and you (or your teacher) do not receive an email regarding your entry’s status, please let us know by contacting enter@planetaryinternational.com.
Now, we know many of you out there are itching to cast your votes, and we can exclusively reveal that the public vote for our grand prize winners is officially open via the Planetary You Platform!
The vote will run for three weeks, closing at 5pm on 1st October, so you have plenty of time to cast your votes and ask all your family and friends to support you too! Make sure to check out all student entries; there’s some absolutely incredible voices for the planet out there, and together, they will make an impact!
The grand prize winners – each winning a 2-day trip for two to Goodwood and the Knepp Estate – will be the student in each category with the most votes once the voting window closes. The winners will be announced on our website on 22nd October and those students or their teacher will be contacted shortly after to claim their prizes.
