UK Supermarket Manager Wins International Nature Photography Contest!

It is the first time an English photograph has won the category since 2014.

Lee Howdle, a manager of a supermarket, won the ‘Breathing Spaces’ category of the International Garden Photopgrapher of the Year 2021 contest.

Entitled ‘Bamford Beautry’, the image captures a beautiful scene within the Peak District. Two other images of Lee’s were also shortlisted.

The image will be included in an exhibition at the Royal Botanical Gardens until the 6th of March.
