CREATING THE WORLD’S FIRST ENTIRELY YOUTH-FUNDED NATURE RESERVE

About Reserva

Reserva was established to empower youth to make a measurable difference for the planet through conservation, education and storytelling.  Our flagship project is an ambitious effort to create the world’s first entirely youth-funded nature reserve—a breathtaking site in the Chocó Rainforest of Ecuador.  Reserva is also partnered with the Rainforest Trust who match all donations, doubling our impact for the planet!

The Reserva Youth Council

Reserva relies on an international board of active youth as project ambassadors and advisors; a self-assembled group of proactive, inclusive, solution-oriented optimists who share a love of nature and are resolved to protect it.. Co-founded by Youth Director Bella Lack (17, UK), the Youth Council now consists of over 50 members from around the world – from Quito to Nairobi, from London to Washington, D.C., from as young as 8 years old and up to our ‘youth cap’ of 26.
